BMC E-Bike - the motor
BMC e-bikes usually use motors from the brands TQ and Bosch. Which drive is installed depends on the model. Basically, the motors of e-bikes provide higher speeds. Sensors pick up your pedaling power and adjust the necessary support from the motor to maintain your pace. However, the individual motors differ from each other in the way they work. The Bosch e-bike system offers four support levels, for example Eco, Tour, Sport/eMTB and Turbo.
